A safe, SPOILER FREE area to discuss the interesting monsters known as the Grimm.

So far, we have the Beowolves, a type of bird (most likely based off of a Vulture or other type of Carrion eating bird), a Giant Scorpion, some sort of bulked up monster (possibly the official version of the Beowolves, or a brand new monster), and if the intro is to be believed, atleast a Giant Snake and a Giant Boar.

So far, they all seem to share a unique mask like object, approximately here their faces (or equivalent) would be. Whether these are natural parts of the Grimm, or some sort of control device, remains to be seen.

Besides being known as monsters, and most likely allied with the dark forces of the land, we don't know whether they are mindless beasts, or intelligent creatures.

So, as of Episode 5, we have had our first official Grimm sighting.

Looks to either be a Redesigned Beowolf, or a brand new creature. Can't wait to see it in action next episode!!!

Someone pointed out it looked a bit more monkey-like than Beowulf-like. Like a rabid, masked gorilla on steroids.

Thats why I was thinking it was a redesigned one.

I was thinking it was just a different creature. But who knows. Maybe the Ruby trailer was before they came up with the Grimm mask?

    Thats what I was thinking.

Or maybe the Mask has something to do with Cinder?

So, we have the Redesigned Beowolves (as made obvious by the Wolf howl), the BeoBears? (name pending), and the Ouroboros Snake (name pending).

You didn't mention the giant scorpion, which, on the wiki is being called scorpius. Also, where did you hear the snake being named, I don't remember that.

Obviously those bears were the guard dogs of a hidden Soviet household. Now that poor proletariat family must face bourgeois aggression with their Kalashnikovs alone.

That is the most epic history reference I've heard in a long time! You just made my day!
