Today I found an interesting manga called Gunka no Baltzar
Its a military themed manga set in a fantasy world with nations inspired by real nations from the industrial age (Prussia, Russia, Sweeden etc.)

Its an interesting read and a really good insight into how western military's changed between the Napoleonic Wars and the first world war.
Anyone curious I suggest reading it

Cool. I haven't found anything else quite like it.

There's a site called millenniumforums.com if you'd like to discuss it more.

There's Gunka no Baltzar which is somewhat similar with the military theme only in a more late 19th century themed world. There's also Historie which takes place in the Greek world just before Alexander the Great.

Just curious have you tried Nanatsu no Taizai?

Would you say either of those comapre to Kingdom though?

I've heard of it, but I've yet to try it out. Been busy with exams recently, maybe later.

As much as I hate Isayama right now, I can't help but respect his tactical killing of characters in these last few chapters.
Erwin dies leading a final charge as a distraction for Levi (whose attack fails).
Armin dies as a distraction for Eren (who succeeds).
There goes all the tactical genius. Now we have an angry midget and a titan-crazed scientist in command and things are looking bad.
I'm so pissed about Armin, though. I mean, his death makes so much sense to the series but IT'S ARMIN FREAKING ARLERT, the most adorable character in AoT. And of course he sacrificed himself for Eren. Just....ASDFGHJKL

This manga is adorable and with enough yuri to match Sakura Trick.
