    ***IMPORTANT NOTICE*** If you wish to join this RP private message me. DO NOT POST IN THIS THREAD. Your first post here should only be a character sheet since the first page will be dedicated to character bios, BUT ONLY AFTER I HAVE CLEARED IT IN CONVERSATION.

    On a continent far away from the known world of Remnant, 6 nations coexisted in harmony, each representing a different aspect: Lumiere (aura), Aquilla (ice/water), Pyre (fire), Verderon (earth), Helium (air), and the governing nation Haldis (harmony). After a startling attack on Haldis the remaining nations hang in the balance as Pyre and Aquilla band together in a quest to expand the Pyran empire to the corners of the known world. A small group of Haldian survivors band together with allied forces to try to put an end to Pyran tyranny and Queen Ashera's reign...

    When we left our heroes Garret had finally been rescued from Ashera's clutches by Linus Fairchild and company. They narrowly escaped to Aquilla after the sorrowful death of Alejandra at Ashera's hands. Meanwhile in Lumiere Flavia and company try to get the high council to see reason and join in a war against Pyran tyranny. Their journey soon leads them to Helium though to seek out the last of the three remaining nuetral countries in a triple alliance against Pyre and Aquilla. Aquilla's suspicious alliance with Pyre becomes even more disturbing as the group in Aquilla uncover startling new evidence...

    Name: Flavia Sorrel

    Age: 26

    Gender: Female

    Race: Lion Faunus

    History: Once a Guardian for the royal family of Haldis, now a military leader, set on reclaiming Haldis and defeating the Pyran Occupation force. She fights for freedom from oppression. She trusts none more than her Captain Maugrim and loves Linus Fairchild fiercely, though her sense of duty and obligations to her country come first.

    Description: Flavia is a brave, fierce warrior who has physical prowess and tactical insight and wisdom. She has short pink hair, which resembles a lion’s mane and elf like ears, and pink eyes. Though somewhat short for her age, she fights like someone twice her size.

    Weapons: She uses twin sabers, called Iris and Chroma, or The Swords of Light. They are filled with a combination of air and fire dust at their core, giving off sparks of lightning and waves of heat when they come into contact with anything. They are hot enough to melt through metal.

    Fighting Style: Flavia is lithe enough for fast attacks, and strong enough to hold off enemy attacks. She excels at close range fighting, Going all out with her dual wielding abilities. She is inventive and courageous in the heat of battle.

    Semblance: Disable- She can disable any semblance within 30 feet of her, but only one person at a time.

    History: He comes from a well off family of well known huntsmen and huntresses. He wants to uphold the family legacy. He has trained all his life to be a huntsmen. He is also an expert piano player. Most of his biological family is deceased, leaving him behind a small fortune, what family he has left are in-laws, from his late wife, whom died while on assignment with him while she was pregnant with their unborn child. After returning to the Academy to teach he fell in love with his student, Ari Fairchild and has stuck with her through the trials each of them face due to the war against Pyre. For a period of time he was captured, tortured, and controlled by Ashera and used as a pawn, nearly killing those he called friends, but was able to break free eventually. He still carries heavy scars both mentally and physically from the ordeal.

    Description: He was a TA at Deskor for one of the combat professors. He had long black wavy hair usually tied back in a loose ponytail, but recently cut it quite short. He has dark brown eyes. He is toned with a height of 6' even with scars covering 80% of his body. Wears lots of black and silver, and long sleeves to hide his scars. The perfect gentleman, chivalrous and kind to all, but doesn't talk much. He has a strong sense of duty and protection. Women are drawn to him for his pretty face and family name, but he hates the attention.

    Weapon: Whitefang and Aegis - longsword forged from a dragon fang that uses ice dust and great-shield combo.

    Fighting style: Wear out the opponent, outlast them, slow them down, then go in for the kill.
    Semblance: Guardian- can extend and reinforce aura shield to protect himself and others from dust rounds and other ranged attacks.

    History: Growing up as prodigy huntress, she trained under Master Trace Council in the art of combat, perfecting pure dust wielding and her powerful and unique semblance. After various abuses were imposed upon her she killed several students and her own parents, vowing no one would ever take advantage of her again and striking out on her own. After spending many years alone in the Draco Mountains she returned to Pyre, her sights set on returning her homeland to the height of glory and building an empire that would conquer all that opposed it. She carries many dark secrets, one of which will change the very nature of existence for huntsmen everywhere...

    Description: A tall woman, blonde, red eyes, always wears red or black, dresses in formal wear usually, including heels, hat, gloves, and dress.

    Weapons: She uses various weapons that have so far included: metal fans, knives, swords, daggers, raw dust, etc.

    Fighting style: she adapts quickly to almost any fighting style, taking on multiple opponents and easily overwhelming her foes with massive and powerful dust attacks.

    Semblance: Glyphs- her glyphs have several uses, some of which include: mind control, shields, reflecting forces, etc.

    Stats: Power 7, Defense 10, Speed 10, Endurance 7, Aura 10, Stealth 7, Close Combat 9, Long Range 10, Hand to Hand 7.

    Name: Elise Killigrew

    Age: 20

    Gender: Female

    Race: Human

    History: Grew up as the daughter of the sea captain of a pirate ship called The Prodigal. She learned to fight at a young age with training from her father. Her mother died during child birth. Her father was killed by Ashera's naval fleet during the initial attacks of the war. She continued on after her father's death to captain her father's ship, The Prodigal, targeting Aquilla and Pyre vessels to pirate, and maintains a code of honor even in plundering other vessels of their cargo.

    Personality: Good humored, playful, witty, and sly. She makes friends easily, gets along well with almost anyone, courageous and kind above all else. She can be cunning, but maintains a strict code of honor as well and occasionally allows herself to "fight dirty". She is a very free spirit, and her loyalty is not easily obtained, but is unshakable once achieved.

    Appearance/Attire: Elise has long silver hair, dark blue eyes, and pale skin. She has an elegant slender frame with small curves and usually wears a white, gold embroidered tailcoat with black skintight pants. Though she is of average height, her heeled brown boots make her appear taller than she actually is. She also has her hair pulled back with two gold clips and held back with two thin braids that meet at the center of the back of her head. She occasionally dons a black pirate hat with gold trim and a snowy white feather. She also wears a pair of pearl earrings which are her most prized possession besides her swords as they were her mother's before she died.

    Weapon: Sable and Argent - Twin rapiers. Sable (the black one) contains fire dust and Argent (the white one) contains ice dust which can be launched at the opponent in waves or used in other ways to create varied effects on their own or in tandem.

    Fighting Style: Elise's fighting style focuses on speed and flawless technique. She likes to utilize an opponent's strengths against them and is a very tactical fighter. She thinks on her feet and is not easily outmaneuvered. She uses only what force and movements are absolutely necessary to achieve a desired goal, wasting no energy and making sure every blow is precise.

    Semblance: Feather Clone - can create a single clone of herself with limited abilities. It is physically identical in every way to the original but when hit directly with a powerful attack will disappear into a thick flurry of feathers. She can create her clone several times, but can have/manipulate only one clone at a time. She can use her clone to teleport a short distance, replacing herself with her clone, redirect herself midair, throw her, take a hit, deceive the opponent, etc. Though her clone can attack it can only land a few attacks before dissipating. She can also have her clone wield one of her actual rapiers instead of just holding a blank copy and if she does so, the clone can attack any number of times, even wielding the dust in the rapier, until the clone takes a powerful direct hit.

    Name: Aureus "Aura" Giallo (Yellow in Latin and Itallian respectively)

    History:Born in Helium and growing up in the capital city of Pyre and Helium with his middle class family had a very good childhood,one day he was walking in the woods during autumn
    when a Beowolf tried to attack him, he was half-sucsessful, giving him a lifelong scar from his left ear to the side of his mouth, before the Beowolf
    could finish him off a huntsman named Helix Acreus, a huntsman from Helium and family friend, showed up and saved him, this act of kindness is what drove him to
    train as a huntsmen, After years of practice he passed the entrnce exam for Deskor. In his school he was the prettyboy that all the girls wanted and stuff
    and was able to balance social and school well.

    Description: Average height and build, he is more agile then many people give him credit for, he has spiked blonde hair and amber eyes, he has three parallel scars
    from his beowulf attack in young age, he wears a yellow hoodie with short sleeves and a black leather vest, he wears black cargo pands with yellow accents
    and hiking boots. Later after the fall of Haldis he changed to Black cargo jeans, a black sleeveless hoodie with yellow accents and a black button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up and sneakers. During a stay in Lumiere Aura recieved a new combat gear outfit that was more armor

    Weapon: Aureus uses two weapons, he uses a machete that he straps on his lower back that he can use with incredible skill, he holds it reverse grip. he also
    uses a one handed crossbow, it has moderate range, maximunm 20 feet, and can use shock dust infuesed arrow to do extra damage, he has them strapped on his legs
    (Crossbow on his left and arrow quiver on his right). After the fall his machete was destroyed in a fight, his new sword, a sword Helix made as christmas gift, gearshifter as named by him, a one sided blade with a handle made of a car gearshifter and a train brake that works as a trigger to light it on fire.

    Semblence: He calls it Reflect/Return, it allows him to pull people and light weight objects towards him or blow himself away from his spot, the downside is
    it doesn't do damage and is really dependednt on the wind, it's weaker in dead wind then without, luckily he carries a couple vials of gust (Wind dust) to jumpstart
    the wind for a short time. He can use it to propel himself in directions for better movement.

    Fighting Style: Aureus uses his Crossbow to do damage as he closes the difference before using his machete to do much more damage, using his semblence to avoid
    attacking heavy attacks as his defense is moderate. After the Fall and gaining the Sword he has lowered his combat due to greenhornness with the weapon and is searching for someone to train him

    Name: Lea "Helix" Arceus (Goes by Helix and XIII to everyone but his family.
    )

    Gender: Male

    Race: Human

    Home Nation: Helium

    History: Helix Arceus grew up in Helium and became a very good huntsmen, saving a boy named Aureus during his travels. at 22, He quit the huntsman business, he spent some years away in Pyre, he came back to his home nations and acts as a sword for hire, working for whoever pays the highest, going under the alias XII (Thirteen). He currently is working for an unseen client as a double agent against Ashera, his team, "The XIII Shadows." Assassins and fighters scattered across the country on seperate missions given by him

    Personality: Helix is very sarcastic in nature

    Description: Moderate in size, Helix wears a hooded coat (Jax will notice this) over his armor, A Grey metal alloy armor good for stealth but weak against knives and well placed shots.

    Weapons: Helix uses a longsword that has two function, Dust Channeling and a railgun that is used by his sword splitting in half, revealing the mechanisms.

    Semblence: Enhanced Strength. Helix can hold his very large sword with one hand or ultra power his attacks for a short time but is uses up energy fast, only able to use it for 30 seconds or three attacks at once.

    Fighting Style: Helix goes for the kill in every attack he swings his sword in, his attacks are quick for the blades size and very accurate and will do tons of damage if he does hit.

    History:
    After her older brother, Linus, disappeared and was presumed dead, Ari’s family fell apart. Her father had been an abusive drunk since her birth and her mother had been driven into reclusiveness by chronic depression and her husband’s abuse. Linus protected Ari as much as he could from her father, however, after his disappearance, Ari was left to take the full force of the abuse. The loss of her brother, who was more of a true parent to her, drove her into a hopeless darkness, which was only perpetuated by the abuse. She turned from a sweet, caring, adoring child into an ‘ice queen’. Her only respite from home was given during the school year, when she trained at a combat school. During breaks, she took to wandering the streets in order to avoid her father, getting into fights, doing odd jobs to earn personal money, and sometimes doing her own trading on the black market within Aquilla’s capital. When she graduated the academy, she was accepted to Deskor. After falling in love with Garret and the beginning of the war, her story continues today.

    Ari possesses a startling combination of red hair and blue eyes. Like most red heads, she has very pale skin. She does not do well in sunlight due to a combination of this and her upbringing in the cold north of Aquilla. Physically, she is rather pretty. She is tall, thin, and lithe, a combination that seems to clash with her abilities. Because of her body structure, her muscles, while not extraordinarily large, are very defined. She has numerous scars from both her father's abuse and street fights. Ari chooses to wear a white tank top and loose black pants with black boots normally, preferring casual clothes. She despises any clothes that could be defined as ‘girly’. On the back of each hand is a tattoo of her family emblem in the colors below. Recently, she received another tattoo in the form of a black knight chess piece over her heart, symbolizing to whom her heart belongs.

    Weapon:
    Ari's primary weapon comes in the form of a pair of spiked gauntlets, Vulcan and Mars. Her usual gloves serve to protect her hand from the metal of the weapon.
    When Ari enters into combat, she activates retractable blades in the gauntlet by forming a fist. This puts pressure on the pressure plates within, setting the gears for the blades into motion. These blades are knifelike and four to five inches in length. The gauntlets are also able to shift into long range mode. There is a port in the back of the gauntlets that allow for either the insertion of dust or bullets, though she prefers dust. .

    Fighting Style:
    Ari prefers hand-to-hand combat where she can use her monstrous strength to pound her enemy into dust, simultaneously shredding them with her blades. She is very skilled in an adapted form of martial arts that focuses on utilizing her strength for more powerful blows. Occasionally, she will use her range mode in combat. Despite her rather direct approach, she is also a very graceful fighter, particularly since training with Garret. She adopted a bit of his more acrobatic style and has learned to use her strength in conjunction with a rather impressive dexterity.

    Semblence:
    'Juggernaut'- Ari is incredibly strong, as shown in her offensive attacks. However, this strength factors into a defensive capability as well. When she plants herself, she becomes nearly unmovable, able to withstand inordinate amounts of force. This does cause a detriment to her speed, due to the locking of her muscles.
    When using her Semblance, Ari is able to take big hits due to the lessening of the damage effects. For example, if she were to take a sword blow, it would not cut nearly as deeply as intended. The more powerful the blows she deflects, the more energy she expends

    Personality:
    As Ari grew closer to Garret, she underwent a serious personality change, reverting to something that resembled her demeanor before Linus’s disappearance. She is fiercely loyal to her comrades and friends, risking her life to save her loved ones and becoming angry with her teammates if they put themselves at risk. She is prone to showing high levels of emotion around those she trusts, but is quite adept at putting on an unreadable front to hide them. Though her trust is hard-won, she is much more welcoming of newcomers than she ever was in the past. Though still rough around the edges, Ari can be very sweet when she wants to be. The only people she lets her guard down fully with are Garret and Linus, though her friends see more and more of her true self as time passes.

    Age: 38-39
    Gender: Male
    Race: Wolf Faunus

    History:
    Maugrim was a member of a militant group of Faunus, much like the White Fang, who did a number of illegal, and sometimes heinous, things in the name of equality. He left his family when his daughter was still young, looking to devote his time to working to build this group into what he and his fellows believed it should be, a domineering force of change.
    Despite his zealousness, however, Maugrim began to realize that a world run by these men was not where he wanted his daughter to live, and that, perhaps, a more peaceful approach was needed. He escaped the organization and joined the military of Haldis. He quickly rose to the rank of Captain, becoming a well-respected officer and good leader of both his human and faunus subordinates. He has not seen his family since leaving so long ago, as he is too ashamed to face them until he can make up for his wrongdoings.
    He survived the strike from Pyre and became General Flavia Sorrel’s right hand, assisting in leading the small rebellion against Ashera’s tyranny.

    Maugrim is six feet two inches tall. He possesses the thin but solid build of an experienced fighter. Maugrim has long black hair, which he keeps pulled back in a decorative holder. He looks younger than his is. His eyes are silver with slitted pupils. On top of his head are two black wolf ears. His canines are longer than those of a human and his face is sharper and more defined. He is obviously not human.
    Maugrim usually wears armor on his upper half and loose military pants that enable him to move quickly on his feet. His armor is light due to his fighting style, which focuses on dancing nimbly through combat and maneuvering his weapon in close quarters. His boots are tall, covering his calves, and lightweight aiding his movement. His military uniform is somewhat hidden by his armor, leaving his rank to be guessed at by those who do not know.

    Weapon:
    Maugrim wields a sansetsukon that utilizes Dust. He prefers lightning as it is more accurate than the others. The haft of the spear breaks apart into three segments, which allows Maugrim to use it in an almost whiplike fashion. Each segment is connected by a thin but strong metal wire. The spear itself is made of a silvery metal and is called Varg Mani. He also carries a military issue sidearm, though he rarely uses it.

    Fighting Style:
    Maugrim is a quick and agile fighter who can use both forms of his weapon without trouble. His weapon, Varg Mani, is able to deliver an electric shock on contact, which he uses to his advantage. He is also very cold blooded when fighting, and will kill without hesitation.

    Semblance:
    Cellular Regeneration- Maugrim can regenerate from injury. Small cuts will heal immediately while larger ones take more time. The more he regenerates, the more energy he uses to heal. He can also heal from injuries that would be life threatening to other, but cannot heal at all if his heart is stopped. Recently, he discovered that he is capable of sharing this ability through blood transfusions. As long as his cells are alive in another's body, they will work to benefit that person.

    History:
    Linus grew up in Aquilla, dreaming to be a Hunter. He was very young when his father took his fall from grace and turned to alcohol. Determined to redeem the family name, Linus studied harder than ever. When he was not in school, he was spending time with his younger sister, Arilynne, whom he fondly called Ari, shielding her from his father’s abuse.
    After graduating combat school, he attended Deskor. Eight months after he graduated Deskor, he went missing and was declared KIA. Officially, he had been sent out with his team to root out a Grimm infestation. In reality, Linus’s team, LARK, had been tasked with assassinating Ashera. They were forced to abandon their mission and flee while pursued. One last distress signal was received from the group before suddenly cutting out. When backup arrived they were too late. Two of the four were dead at the scene and the other two missing, leaving nothing but blood in the snow.
    In reality, the two had been stumbled upon and saved. Linus’s teammate died of wounds soon after being rescued. Linus, however, clung to survival. He had suffered a terrible wound on his head. A week after the battle, Linus awoke. He was alive but the blow to his head had caused severe memory loss.
    Eventually recovering a memory of Deskor, Linus returned there. Upon arriving, he was reunited with his sister, Ari, and his old instructors, who assisted him in regaining himself. He became a prominent figure in the group of survivors from the later attack on Deskor and in the play of the war itself. As Linus assisted in the war effort against Ashera, he met General Flavia Sorrel and the two eventually became lovers.

    Tall, thin, and lean, Linus has the build of a fighter who focuses more on speed than strength and power. He has strawberry blonde hair and icy blue eyes. Linus was usually seen smiling before the loss of his memory. His accident made him slightly more brooding, however, he managed to retain his kind and optimistic personality. His skin is pale but not so much as Ari’s. They resemble each other most in the shape of their eyes and faces. Linus’s most notable feature is his abundance of tattoos, which cover his arms and shoulders, some spilling onto his ribcage. His most important tattoos are the emblems of his fallen team LARK, the snowflake Fairchild emblems on his hands, the small red haired child on his left ribcage, and the intricate A over his left chest. Recently, Linus made the addition of a lioness lounging across the centerpiece of the A. Linus is most often seen wearing black pants and tall boots accompanied by a sleeveless white shirt. Over everything he wears a black trench coat. His sword scabbards lay across his back and a belt with numerous pouches girds his waist. Recently, Linus suffered severe burn wounds and, was left with a number of burn scars on the affected areas.

    Weapon:
    Linus’s personal weapons are a pair of swords named Diana and Hestia. One appears to be silver and the other gold. They shift into a pair of semiautomatic pistols. Hestia is designed to work well with fire-related dust in both forms while Diana uses ice-related dust. Both pistols are capable of firing regular bullets.

    Fighting Style:
    Linus is a close combat fighter, proficient in using his swords in the dual weapon, style. He prefers to use bursts of his semblance to disrupt enemy attacks and throw them off balance before using his swords in a flurry of devastating attacks. He usually reserves his pistols for opening up a fight with numerous opponents, using them to whittle down the numbers with a flurry of bullets before entering the fray. These too are used as close range weapons, firing at a maximum distance of 200 meters.

    Semblance:
    Fortress- Linus is able to create exceptionally strong aura shields. He is also able to project these shields away from himself in order to encompass a radius of about 50 meters in a dome shape. He can project them onto someone else, leaving himself defenseless. If he uses his shield for long periods of time, its effects weaken as time passes. He prefers to use it in short bursts during close combat.

    History:
    Deme was born into a noble house in Pyre. He was afforded all the luxuries of a noble house, tutors, fortune, etc. He learned how to fight, use his semblance, manipulate his aura, and so on, but he was never satisfied. In his teenage years, he took to dressing as a vagabond and sneaking out among the commoners. He even ran away once and took up a job at a mine. However, despite his efforts to remain hidden, the head of his family eventually found him and brought him back.
    Having noticed Deme’s potential, the head of the family began to train him in assassination and espionage. Deme became a fine gentleman, the face of his family’s business endeavors and social escapades. Halso became a ruthless killer, just as capable of ripping out internal organs as charming the nobility.
    Deme is known for his charm and has a bit of a reputation as a womanizer. He does nothing to deny this, as his reputation portrays him as a shallow individual who focuses only on women and himself. This provides him the perfect cover. The D’Cruz family heads a mafia in Pyre, of which Deme is third in line in ownership, after his father and elder brother. Weapons deals, drugs, information, prostitution, and any other illegal or illicit trade is sure to go through the D’Cruz mafia at some point.

    Deme is a tall man with dark tan skin and gold eyes. He has black hair that falls in messy curls about his face. When he is playing the gentleman, his ‘white’ side, he clips his hair back and wears a top hat over it. He also wears a nice suit and cravat when he is ‘white’. He might be seen in this outfit when ‘black’, or playing the assassin, but, usually he prefers a simple white button up and black slacks for dirty work. Deme is almost never seen without a silver stud in each ear. He is also usually smoking. Deme is an extremely skilled gambler. He usually carries a deck of cards with him simply because he loves to play. These are custom made cards and usually are hidden in his suit or in the front pocket of his trousers, opposite his pocket watch.

    Weapon:
    Deme carries a reinforced gentleman’s cane that can shift into a Thompson sub-machine gun. The weapon can take a third form as a large shield. In the shield form Deme is able to utilize a special purple Dust concocted by his family. This Dust was created experimentally through the combination of numerous types of Dust and other chemicals. It’s a type of “faux” Dust, and has acidic properties. It is designed to slowly eat through flesh before making its way to the heart, brain, and other vital organs. The Dust covers the front of the shield, in the center of which is his emblem, a black and purple butterfly.

    Fighting Style:
    Deme is a very adept fighter. He is just as capable of using the cane as a close combat weapon as he is using the Thompson for distance. His favorite weapon form, however, is the shield. Usually, he will use the defensive capability to get close to his opponent before bashing them with the shield, aiming for the head or torso. Should the Dust come in contact with exposed skin, it will begin to eat away at the victim. Clothing, however, provides a barrier. Deme is also very acrobatic in his fighting, and is able to maneuver his shield with a surprising amount of dexterity.

    Semblance:
    Choice: Deme can choose what he wants to come in contact with for a few seconds at a time. This ‘choice’ extends to any object of his choosing, though not to the full bodies of other living creatures. Clothes, weapons, objects, and, in some cases, organs, are covered in his ‘choice’. He is careful when and how he uses this ‘choice’, as he only has so much Aura to use.

    History: Not much is known about Destyn before she came into service under Ashera, as if she were a ghost or kept hidden and raised secretly for a specific purpose. She wears a pair of skintight black combat pants and a dark red t-shirt with her emblem on the left breast. She is toned, having large muscles and a solid six pack, although still stands at 5ft 7. She also wears knee high black combat boots, and always has her armour as a black and red belt around her waist. In addition, Destyn now has a long tattoo sleeve down her human arm, and her other arm is completely robotic, coloured black and red.

    Uses two. She can only wield both when in armour mode, allowing her to swing them around with ease. However, she can still use a single one without armour due to training. The spikes shoot out dust explosions into the target upon contact, giving the weapons an explosive kick.

    Fighting Style: Run in and smash stuff quickly until it is dead, commonly using the momentum generated from the explosions of her hits to maneuver or swing faster. However, is slow in her armour and relies on taking out enemies before they get too close.

    Semblance: Regen- Can activate her semblance to gain incredibly rapid healing for herself or whoever she is touching at the time.

    History: She grew up on her family's trading vessel, called the 'Merryway'. During that time, she was peaceful, being taught onboard the ship and rarely seeing the land, besides when her parents allowed her to explore the port during supply stocks. This changed at the age of 16, where her trading ship (In which she now captained to assist her ailing father) was attacked by a ruthless pirate ship, the Prodigal. She was taken alive, and the secret adventurous, dangerous and rebellious side of Violet shone through, becoming great friends with the captain Elise Killigrew.

    Appearance: Violet has long, pale purple hair and yellow eyes. She is quite short, standing at only 5ft 4 inches, and is quite skinny. She is pale in complexion. Usually, Violet wears a black and gold pirate blouse with black skinny trousers, under knee high black leather boots. Along with this, she wears a necklace (Family heirloom) around her throat. She also has a pair of slender black gloves that go under her blouse to the elbow. Usually, Violet has her sword holstered on her belt to the left hand side, and her pistol in a holster on the back.

    Personality: Violet has a very carefree and active personality. She is very sociable, creating ties with those she deems worthy of her friendship, or those she can see as beneficial to her own cause in her future. She is slow to put her actual trust and loyalty into people, although when she does, there is no doubt that she will be there when needed. Whilst being a dangerous and spontaneous girl, she can also follow orders easily, but only orders given by those she respects and is loyal to.

    Weapon: Scar & Static
    Violet uses a cutlass and autonomized blunderbuss combo in fights. Her cutlass, Scar , is made of a strong metal, and infused with electrical dust. This shocks anyone who comes into contact with the blade, but she herself prevents this by wearing gloves. Her pistol, Static , is a blunderbuss, but has an autonomized reload and firing mechanism, speeding up the rate of her shots. The pistol's barrel also has electrical dust lining the insides, causing any of the bullets coming out to be charged with electricity.

    Fighting Style: Violet fights very quickly and aggressively, charging in to get close enough to use her cutlass and end the fight quickly. However, if the enemy is further away, she uses her pistol to try and paralyse/stagger them to get an opening to close the distance.

    Semblance: Static discharge- After channeling her aura, Violet can release a field of electricity into the air from her person. Whilst this does affect everyone it hits, she can focus more energy to certain parts, so that her enemies are hit harder than her allies. However, it is an incredibly rare occurrence to see Violet use her semblance, since she dislikes its effects.

    History: Born to the Noble Ravencroft family of Pyre, Ash was raised as an esteemed warrior and noble child. Eventually, he joined the pyran military, rising through the ranks to become in command of a fairly large regiment. However, he disapproved of Ashera and worked secretly to try and bring about her downfall. However, his friend Roland gave him up for a hefty reward, and Ash was swiftly targeted by Ashera for extermination. However, General Tien had proposed an agreement. Since he was appointed by Ashera to perform the execution, he did a fake execution of Ash, allowing him afterwards to escape and go into hiding. It was suggested that he meet up with a team of Haldian survivors and aid their mission, but he wished to wait inside the empire.

    Ash has shoulder length white hair and pale blue eyes. He has a pale complexion, although his body is covered in several scars. On his face, he has three scars. One runs from the top left of his forehead down over his left eye, ending on his left cheek. The second is down his right cheek, ending by cutting into his top lip. His last scar is more on his neck than his face, starting on his right jaw and going down the right side of his neck, continuing slightly down his shoulder to his torso. He nearly always wears his ornate armour, and a red cape reminiscent of his rank in the military. However, if he ever leaves his hideout, it is all covered by a grey-blue cloak with a tight drawn hood and no signs of his armour or weapon underneath.


    Personality: After seclusion and harbouring feelings of betrayal and hate, Ash has become quite cold and heartless. He is angry at the world, and finds himself hateful of most things that do not agree with his beliefs. However, this seclusion has also made him secretly long for socialisation and companionship, which means he will quite easily get along with those who agree with his beliefs; mainly the desire for the downfall of Ashera and restoration of his family's name. Once his incredibly cold, harsh shell is breached, he reverts slightly back to his old personality of being quite sociable, communicative and friendly.

    Ash uses a two handed longsword called 'Honour's Blade' that was a family heirloom handed down. The sword itself is fairly plain, having no dust capabilities. However, those come from his gauntlets. In the gauntlets of his armour, he has a strange mechanism that allows him to select the type of dust and spread it over the blade by running his hand over it. This allows him to change what elemental properties his weapon can obtain during combat.

    Fighting Style: Ash generally fights with a defensive combat style. He is trained proficiently in blocking and holding ground using his weapon, creating openings to land devastatingly strong blows to his enemies.

    Semblance: Adamantium Will- Ash's semblance allows him to mentally fortify his will. He can either keep this in his mind, rendering him immune to mind altering effects. However, he can also channel it into a physical form, either increasing his strength temporarily or durability in the same way.

    • History: Tien was born to a poor family in Pyre. They all slept in a single room and rarely had enough money for electricity or running water. Tien hated his lot in life and sought to carve a piece of the world for himself. He did odd jobs to earn enough money to buy a cheap old blade. With this blade in hand Tien joined the army. He quickly stood out because of his charisma and determination. After a few years of serving in the army Tien met his future wife Sonya in an undiscovered island off the coast of Helium. She fell in love with his charisma and drive and he fell in love with her intellect and passion. By the time they wed Tien had become a rather high ranking soldier in Pyre's army. A few years after that they had a daughter by the name of Amelia. One day Sonya returned to her home town and never came back. The village had been sacked by bandits. When he heard of this Tien had the bandit's hideout utterly annihilated. It was then that he realized what he needed to do. He did all he could to advance and eventually made it to the top of Pyre's military. When a woman asked him for assistance with a coup Tien agreed. Using his tactical knowledge and power Tien made sure that the coup would succeed. He then went to Haldi and aided in the conquest of the country. As time went by the acts Tien had to do for his country has caused him no end of guilt. Every time he offered mercy and a chance to surrender his enemies always either ran or fought to the death. Tien suspects that he will not survive this war and has begun to prepare for the worst
    • Description: Tien has white hair on his head and face. Though stress has aged him prematurely he still has a strong physique and regal bearing. He dresses in a white and gold outfit that is designed to get opponents to attack him instead of his soldiers on the battlefield.
    • Weapon: Tien wields the blade known as Wind Cutter. It is a Dadao (Hand and a half saber) That has stores of wind dust within the hilt. When swung it can send a slash of cutting wind at who it was swung at. When used right before hitting an object the wind will create a buffer between Wind Cutter and whatever it was about to hit. This is good against attacks that rely upon hitting either Tien or his blade. Tien also has a gauntlet on his left hand with multiple vials of dust. He can channel the dust through the blade to add an extra effect onto the wind slash. It can also be put on the blade to do anything from setting it on fire to making it electric.
    • Fighting Style: Tien likes to strike fast and hard. He wants his opponent to die with the least amount of pain. If the battle looks to be a long one Tien will not hesitate to call in backup and attack with infused wind slashes to try to overwhelm the opponent with attacks.
    • Semblance: Tien's semblance is known as far sight. This allows Tien to observe places he is not currently at. For him to do this he must either have seen the place or know its approximate location. He can observe an area to get a view of an area near it and then view that area. Using this he is able to figure out enemy placements and make sure his daughter is doing her school work without him having to actually be there. Someone can tell when an area is being observed because there will be a small blue ball around the size of a marble floating in the area. If this ball is destroyed Tien can no longer see the area and can't use far sight for a few minutes. When he is using far sight Tien is much less observant of what is happening around his body.

    Description: Freya is above average height for a girl her age. She has a strong physique and skin roughness more in line with a soldier than a noble. Her hair is blond and her eyes are blue.

    Weapon: In the time since their first direct encounter with the empress of Pyre, Freya has obtained a pair of clawed gauntlets with a set of bracers. The bracers are lined with hardened metal vials filled with dust. This allows the normally melee focused Freya to bring something unexpected to a fight. It also serves as her only ranged means of attack. Though it is doubtful she could hit the broad side of a barn with it.
    Fighting Style: Freya charges in with great speed and seeks to bring her opponent down with rapid unarmed attacks. As she has no skill in anything but hand to hand Freya seeks to keep her enemies at arms length.
    Semblence: Freya can use her aura to increase the toughness and effectiveness of different parts of her body. She can use this on her arms to hit harder, her legs to jump higher. She can even focus all of her semblance into one area which allows that area to stand up against the sharpest blades and even the biggest guns. By using large amounts of energy Freya can empower her entire body to the maximum extent though this causes a rather large drain on her power.

    • History: Fiona was a shark faunus born with a birth defect. The gills on her sides could not take oxygen from the air as easily as they should. This made staying with her people very difficult. Her parents tolerated her presence until her 14th birthday when they sent her away to a hunter academy. There she was often mocked for her multiple sets of sharp teeth. She spent her teenage years in abject misery. All she could do was find solace with her machines. When she graduated she was angry and hurt. The perfect feelings for Ashera to take advantage of. She was a key member of Ashera's intelligence gathering until she was chosen to lend her services to the main force.
    • Description: Fiona is a tall lithe woman with blue hair and eyes. She likes to wear formal clothing of blue, black and white. Her voice is timid and she tends to complain more than most.

    • Weapons:
    • Drones: Fiona's drones are her first line of defense. She controls them via her arm deck supercomputer. A device on her arm which allows her to hack into computers and control both her drones and Pyrian military hardware.
    • The first type of drone is a small flying machine equipped with a small mining laser. While the laser can take down most human or grimm targets the fact that they lack aura makes them very weak against large grimm or hunters.

    • The second type of drone is a cybernetic wolf made for hunting down targets. It is possessed of high power scanning devices and extendable claws. Though they lack aura their advanced A.I. and sharp claws allow a group of them to outmaneuver a solitary hunter.

    • The final type of drone Fiona brings into combat is a defense drone. There are only about a dozen currently active and Fiona only brings two with her at a time. They are made to mow down opponents that try to kill their master. Their combat A.I. was made from data taken from hunter tournaments.

    • When Fiona is forced into actual combat she uses a nightstick that is charged with electricity. She rarely wins in close combat.
    • Fighting Style: Fiona will send her flying drones to scout out the area. If the targets are weak the drones will laser them to death. If the target is a hunter Fiona will distract them with the drones then flank them with the wolves. If an opponent defeats those Fiona will send her bodyguards. If they fall Fiona will lose in close combat.
    • Semblance:
    • Phalanx: This semblance allows Fiona to assume direct control of her robots. When she is directly controlling her drones they are protected by her aura just as she is. When a robot she is controlling is destroyed she is temporarily stunned.

    Serena Salbrid

    Age: 17

    Gender: Female

    Race: Faunus

    History: Being born into a small Faunus family back at Haldis, Serena was raised to view Hunters as ultimate warriors. As such, she was always trying to train when she was young, mostly causing herself to get injured. Eventually, her father, who was a former Hunter himself, gave Serena his weapon, Lupus, and sent her to the Haldis academy.

    Personality:
    Once upon a time, Serena was a very energetic, very happy girl. She was fine with making friends and even more fine with being in the center of attention.

    This all changed when Haldis was attacked.

    Through time, Serena slowly become more silent, more distant from the rest of the group. When Alejandra died by Ashera, she became completely silent, to the point that it was like she was never around.

    However, this melts away in the instance of a life and death situation, or if one of her friends are being threatened. At that point, she turns into someone not afraid to beat someone up, and won’t back away from something she believes she can handle… But if she believes that doing something will completely mess up the team’s plan, she will… Unless, of course, it doesn’t involve one of her friends getting killed.

    This shall be referred to as ‘snap’ mode.


    Appearance: After the PM’s speech, during the peacetime for the main group, Serena’s appearance was changed thanks to the efforts of Gracelyn Fletcher. The things that remain the same was her Black eyes, her white complexion, her hair color, and her height.

    Hair wise, she used to have very messy hair, with plenty of it being roughly cut due to combat. It’s now neatly cut, the back of her hair now only going to her neck while her bangs covered the entire top half of her forehead. Her wolf ears still remain sticking out.

    However, something to note is that Serena now has a dark grey, metal pin shaped in her signature emblem in the left side of her hair (a bit above the ear). This pin has always been her possession, from before the war even started. It was, before, just a normal piece of metal, but Gracelyn added a pin to it so Serena could now wear it.

    Clothing wise, Serena has changed quite a bit.

    Top wise, Serena wears a regular, black shirt that as sleeves that goes to her elbows, along with rough, black gloves that also go to her elbows. The gloves are rough on the outside, but are actually fairly smooth on the inside, and were made by Gracelyn to help Serena hold on to Lupus (despite the latter's protest). The smooth interior is only for comfort. Then, Serena wears a black jacket with white outlines, with the sleeves going down to her wrists. The middle portion has no way to close, and is mostly for cosmetic purposes.

    Mostly.

    On the back of said jacket, Serena has a small holder attached to it. The holder itself is a grey, tilted sideways, and was made to hold onto Lupus if Serena didn’t feel like holding it at the time. On top of which, it’s positioning actually helps Serena draw it quickly if she has to.

    In comparison, Serena’s shirt is slightly brighter than her jacket, which is one of the few ways to tell them apart. The jacket’s ‘outlines’ are the ends of her sleeves, her jacket’s collar, and the sides of the jacket’s opening.

    Bottom wise, Serena wears a new, black skirt that ends a bit above her knees. She then wears smooth, black socks that end a bit below her skirt’s ending point. Her boots are her older ones, only cleaned up, repaired, and the top of it was actually cut down a few inches, both in Gracelyn’s desire to make Serena actually look good, and because those parts were… Unrepairable.


    Weapon: Lupus: A long, brown, metal staff with wolf/forest designs scratched into it. Now, Serena wants to upgrade it with a blade.

    Semblance: Speed; Because of her normal energetic nature, her semblance relies on swift reflexes, which lets her instinctively avoid attacks, even if she doesn’t realize it at the time. However, in a high speed battle, the Semblance can be fooled at be led into blows.
    Fighting Style: Mainly, she uses fast attacks with Lupus. Because of her weapon choice, her defensive options are extremely limited, the only way she can survive attacks is to mainly avoid them.

    Description:
    Since her last mission out in the field, Cerise has changed her appearance quite considerably. The only things that haven’t changed, at all, is her height and skin color, which is 5’8” and a white complexion respectively.

    First off, her hair. As it turns out, Cerise’s normal hair color wasn’t pink, but actually a light blonde. The pink as a whole was just a dye. Now, she removed a majority of the die, although the kept the entire left side of her bangs with the hot pink dye.

    She hasn’t grown her hair out, at all, and it still remains perfectly straight, and still retains her heart shaped earrings.

    Unlike her hair, Cerise’s blue eyes were always a part of her. However, now, she uses pink contacts… For cosmetic purposes.

    Then, her clothing.

    For starters, after two fights with Maugrim, Cerise has added a pair of white, shoulder length gloves specially designed for her. On top of which, these gloves are lines with seemingly random, bright yellow markings, that travel all the way up the gloves.

    The markings are actually infused, electrical dust, made to help Cerise fight against Maugrim’s electrical spear. The dust’s only purpose is to absorb electrical energy, and it cannot be discharged as an attack. The only way to extract the absorbed energy is to have a specially designed machine extract it.

    Then, her shirt is a sleeveless, white, and smooth shirt, with her emblem placed above her right breast.

    She then has a light pink belt, which holds both of her weapons and ammo.

    Her bottom half consists of a white, kneelength skirt, and white, metal, knee length boots, with pure white tights underneath. The boots, like her gloves, are infused with electrical dust. The only differences are that the dust is infused underneath the metal, and are supposed to channel electricity to the ground harmlessly.

    Lastly, her weapon holders. Her sword, Heart, resided in a long sheath, connected to the right side of her belt. The sheath itself is dark pink in color, and in the middle has a plastic heart symbol connected to it. Her gun, Break, resides in a small holster that resembles her sheath in both color and heart symbol.

    Then, on the backside of the belt, she holds Break’s ammunition, put into a leather pouch that takes up the majority of the belt (in the back, at least), and holds up to 6 magazines for Break.

    Personality: Very carefree and happy, even while amidst a battle. She has also shown some enjoyment in killing other people, despite her attitude towards most things. On top of which, she is nearly incapable of hating someone.
    Weapon: Heart and Break: Celise has changed her weapons from dual swords to a sword/pistol combination. Heart retains her old weapon’s signature, being a single handed sword. The only difference now is that the hilt in surrounded by a heart shape, mainly to help keep it in her hands. Break, however, is a small pistol with, once again, a heart shape on the side of the gun.
    Semblance: Cerris can create a small, defensive bubble around her (and, of course, it is shaped like a heart), deflecting most weapons and objects. the only things that can enter are light, heat, and air. This however drains her Aura and massive levels, so she can only put it up for about a minute at full strength.

    Fighting Style: Because of her new weapon choice, she’s a bit unskilled with her weapons. However, her current style revolves keeping the opponent away with her pistol, at first. At close range, she uses her sword to open the opponent up, mainly by moving their weapons, then uses her pistol to shoot through that opening. She can use the pistol to block incoming attacks, but the pistol isn’t nearly as durable as the sword, meaning it can break overtime.

    Name: Gracelyn Fletcher

    Other names: Grace.

    Age: 19

    Gender: Female

    Race: Human

    History: Born in Verderon, Gracelyn was born into a large family of hunters, all of which who prefered the useage of older weapons to the new, transformable ones. As such, she grew up learning how to learn her weapon of choice: Arcus, a bladed bow.

    For most of her life, Gracelyn was primarily taught how to use more “household”, such as sewing, cooking, and other things of that sort, only able to practice her bow at the last hour of light, or at night.

    However, this all changed when she turned 18, in which she announced she would leave home with little provisions, little money, her bow, and the clothes on her back. After a few days of goodbyes and explaining, Gracelyn left Verderon in search of new places to explore, leading into her life for a whole year.

    Her travels eventually led her to Aquilla, having went straight through Haldis to get to it, deciding to stay a few days to rest up and explore the city. However, her plans were cut short when the alliance between Aquilla and Pyre formed, causing her to effectively be trapped in Aquilla.

    Personality: Earlier in her life, Gracelyn was taught to be very quiet and reserved, not to ask questions, and avoid people not known to her family.

    However, after a full year on her own, her true personality finally came out, revealing a girl who’s energetic, spirited, and immensely curious. She takes life in a stride, and while she does have a good memory, she chooses not to dig that far back, half because of her old life, and half because she rarely feels like it. Despite this, she has a tendency to ask a lot of questions, though she’ll expect the fact that people don’t want to take about certain things (Although she won’t exactly like it).

    Description: Grace appears as an average height girl, about 5’5”, with a rather straight body, with a white complexion. She has large, emerald colored eyes, and long, messy, orange hair that goes right down to her knees, with the front bangs barely reaching her eyebrows, and falling to her neck (On the sides, at least)

    Clothing wise, Grace tends to wear either black, green, or white. Her normal attire is generally a long, light green tunic with the front being knitted together with surprisingly large strings, due to months of ripping. The top portion of the tunic is covered by a lighter green collar that parts both in the middle and spreads out to the side, leaving exposed an added, flower-like, metal plate for protection. The collar also functions as a small, green cape, going down to her knees (like her hair), and the ends being extremely torn up. Then, the tunic parts to reveal her shoulders, which are still connected with her tunic after a few inches, and are lined with white, with the sleeves being light green, like the rest of her tunic.

    Below her tunic, she wears black shorts, and is then covers her legs with black leggings, and wears smooth, green shoes that go slightly past her ankles.

    Weapon; Arcus: Arcus appears as a white, metallic longbow, with the edges being sharpened for melee usage. Besides that, Arcus doesn’t have much else to add to it… Besides being surprisingly durable and heavier than a normal bow. On top of which, it can can be split into two swords, if needed, but need to be restrung for her arrows.

    After that, is her arrows, which are a combination of regular arrows, ice arrows, and electricity arrows. The ice arrows are used to freeze small areas (like a door… A person’s arm… etc), without dealing much damage, while electricity arrows are designed against people in general, used to paralyze enemies from afar. However, she doesn’t have much dust arrows, and normally just uses regular arrows.

    Her last weapon is… A simple dagger, designed to be both an effective last option melee weapon, or a throwable object.

    Fighting Style: Grace revolves around movement, with extreme accuracy with her bow. At range, that accuracy is nearly spot on. Where she aims, it’s probably going to hit where it’s going. However, while she’s very accurate, she’s not accurate enough to read skillful opponents, meaning that she can be tricked into misfiring.

    Up close, she uses Arcus like a staff, using her speed and Arcus’s durability and bladed edges to quickly whittle down an enemy. Even then, she’s very flexible, and can has a tendency to perform more ‘theatrical’ movements, like backflipping or something of that sort. At the same time, she’s not above using an arrow as a melee stab, or even doing close range archery on the opponent.

    For her dagger, that’s pretty much the same thing… Only has next to no defensive options and have to rely on quick movements to win a fight.

    Semblance; Ranger’s instinct: Due to her curious nature, Grace’s semblance is somewhat of an advance tracking system. With it, if Grace gets a decent lead on something enough concentration, she can accurately map out what someone (or something) was doing in a small radius. If she can’t get a good start on something, or there’s no chance to concentrate… The semblance is pretty much useless.
