A general thread for discussing comic book superhero topics.

From Marvel, DC, Image, or just anything superhero related. It could be about the comics, tv shows/cartoons, anime adaptions, film adaptions.

If you know any comics you'd like to recommend please share here!

You don't have to have any comics necessarily. Any general superhero chat is welcome comic or not.

I would definitely recommend the Robin comics. They give a whole new perspective to the Batman series. And, fun fact, while Superman was the first DC superhero, a few years before Batman, DC actually stands for 'Detective Comics', which was the original title of the Batman comic books.

Have you read any of the recent Dick Grayson comics? I haven't caught up to Batman but I hear Dick's an agent now.

I've read some of the more recent 'Nightwings' but
I prefer the original series where he becomes Batman after Bruce's disappearance over the New 52 reboot where he's an agent

To be fair he was for a little while before becoming an agent. At least during the Batman and Robin run.

Comics of both DC and Marvel are surprisingly darker than I thought. Noticing that after researching the stories of Starfire, Raven, and the Punisher.

If you like dark comics, I'd recommend these titles:
The Killing Joke (most famous Batman/Joker story)
The Dark Knight Returns (considered the best Batman story of all time)
    Watchmen
