Even though I'm going to be waiting another day, I'm hyped for this episode just from looking at the title
I think I speak for a majority of us when I say Raven is a bitch.
Worst Mother of the Year contender.
Raven wiped out Jaune's holiday home with the goddamn Spring Maiden.
She is everything I wanted her to be as a character.
Good episode..it hit close to home in a few spots with Yang's PTSD. Not the same experience at all that the poor girl is dealing with but as someone who cant sleep at night sometimes..I look forward to seeing her rebound and kick ass as a one woman arm-y.
-So the farm boy is called Oscar and looks to be getting his own subplot ited to Ozpin's fate. I like his character from what I've seen, but I'm not sure there's enough room for this plot.
-Nice to see Port and Oobleck again, I also liked the anecdote about Qrow getting trolled by Tai.
-I thought Yang and Tai's fake out argument was a bit awkwardly done. I think they were trolling Oobleck and Port, but it wasn't made clear enough.
-I liked the rest of the scene though as well as the bit after, it shows how multitude of factors are leading to Yang deciding to take up the arm. Although I do think it's a bit too soon for that.
-So Raven finally has a model that isn't a palette swap of Yang, praise The Lord.
-So yeah even though it's directly said it's made obvious that Raven is the leader of a tribe of bandits and that she's interested in her tribe's survival above the fate of the world. I like this scene, it in forms us of Raven and Qrow's past as well as the differences between the two.
-Nice to see how the destroyed village was actually foreshadowing.
Overall one of RWBY's better efforts in my opinion. A few things that bugged me, but still much better than the previous episode.
That's amazing episode!
Yang was finally kicked out of self-pity and is back on her feet again. That's so great! Yep, talk with old veterans could do this to you. I can't wait to see the look on Yang's face when she knew that Ironwood is still kicking ass with half of his body being cybernetic.
"Nice" chat between Branwen siblings. So much information.
And "our dear Ozpin" is back in the game, too. Somehow. Well, that's not surprising, honestly. Agent Washington knows thing or too about survival. Give him powers of Wizard of the Oz - and he'll survive everything.
So much joy. The tide of war had not turned yet, but it will.
P.S. Quote the Qrow: "Luck..."
Do you think their elluding to another group that isn't White Fang when they mentioned the tribe? Perhaps avian based Faunus types.
I'm in love.... I just... I need a minute
I'm pretty sure they're the aforementioned wandering bandits.
